The Mission Statement
The mission of the WITI is to:
“Increase the participation of women in the transportation industry and prepare young women to become our nation’s future leaders. “
Recent Events
Know Your Business! Show Your Business! Grow Your Business! was an event held to encourage, educate and provide women the opportunity to network with women business owners who are sharing their best practices and resources toward reaching the obtainable goal of business ownership. This event is a USDOT Women & Girls in Transportation Initiative hosted by the USDOT Mid South Atlantic Small Business Transportation Resource Center.
